ALSO KNOWN AS WORKING AT HEIGHTS AND SAFE WORKING AT HEIGHTS

 COURSE OBJECTIVES

A Nationally Recognised Training course of 1 day duration that involves understanding
Australian Standards associated with working at heights, identifying workers safety requirements,
state safety procedures for workers safety, inspecting equipment used for working at heights,
completing inspection record cards and practical onsite application.

COURSE CONTENT
• Identify hazards in relation to working at heights
• Identify workers safety requirements
• Undertake proper planning and preparation for height works
• Understand the need for safe work practices
• Use ladders and scaffolding safely
• Understand the use and operation of elevated and suspended work platforms
• Think of the safety of people working at heights
• Identify and be familiar with the need to use personnel fall protection
• Complete Inspection Record Cards

• Written and Verbal Exam
• Practical Exam

PREREQUISITES
• Ability to use and understand basic English
