COURSE OBJECTIVES
This course specifies the competency required to safely and effectively operate
elevated work platforms (EWP’s) in a variety of different terrains
and situations and to access isolated work areas.
Work platforms include boom lifts with platform height under and above 11 meters,
scissor lifts, trailer mounted booms, truck mounted and personal lift platforms.

COURSE CONTENT
• Plan and prepare work
• Conduct routine checks of platform
• Set up Elevating Work Platform
• Set up Elevating Work Platform
• Locate equipment in place for work application
• Elevate to work location
• Lower platform, shut down and secure
ASSESSMENT
• Classroom Participation
• Written and Verbal Exam
• Practical Exam

Under 11 metres - 1 day

PREREQUISITES
• Ability to use and understand basic English
• Able to work at heights
